Artswest 32
March 27-April 8th, 2011, L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library, Eau Claire, WI. Opening reception March 3rd 7-8:30. "The Blues" will be on display. This year, 93 artists from 17 communities submitted 162 works to be judged for entry into the show. The juror for the exhibit was Andrea Myklebust, a working sculptor and former Executive Director of Lake Pepin Art & Design Center, a not-for-profit community arts organization based in Pepin, Wisconsin. Ms. Myklebust selected 52 pieces for the exhibit, representing 48 artists.

A group show of kilnformed glass created during two summer residencies at Pilchuck Glass School by artists in the second stage of their careers. Many of the artists have worked successfully in other fields and have come to glass later in their lives, producing works of great variety and range. 2004 "Polaris" was one of 35 entries selected out of 516 submissions in this international, juried, kilnformed glass, competition sponsored by Bullseye Glass in Portland, OR. "Polaris" was on display at The Bullseye Connection Resource Center from October 1st - December 11th, 2004. A gallery of the finalists can be viewed here.

Wisconsin ArtsWest 25
2004 This is the 25th year of the Wisconsin Arts West exhibition. "Bamboo Forest" was selected as a finalist in this juried exhibition. Fifty four works of art were selected out of 226 entries in all areas of artwork.

Legacy at BECon
2003 "The Twinkie Plate" was on display from July 29 to September 6, 2003 at the Bullseye Connection Gallery. Legacy is an exhibition of 50 works by teaching artists and their students; working artists and their apprentices; and various other pairings of established and emerging artists. I was invited to be part of this exhibition as the "student" with Avery Anderson, as my long time teacher and mentor.

Wisconsin ArtsWest 24
2003 My pieces "Garden" and "Cobalt Triangle Bowl" were both accepted into the juried competition of the Wisconsin ArtsWest 24 show. There were 213 entries submitted, and 68 works were selected by the juror for this exhibition. To view an article on this exhibit, click here.
